Affordable staying

Even though the flight fee to Japan is expensive, you can enjoy as much as you can beyond your budget.

Because the price of food, beverages, and hotels is cheaper than the other countries such as Europe, Canada, and America. If you would like to enjoy ramen in Japan, you just spend ¥600 which is around $4 in US dollars.

And also the quality of food is high even the chain restaurant(Here is my recommended chain restaurant in Japan).

Many Cities that you can visit

When traveling abroad for sightseeing, budget and time are often limited, restricting the places you can visit.

However, in Japan, everything is relatively close, and using highway buses makes travel affordable. In Tokyo, you can enjoy a variety of destinations like Kawagoe, an old town full of traditional charm, DisneySea, and Shibuya Sky, which offers stunning panoramic views.

These spots provide a wide range of experiences at reasonable costs.

Transportation Conveniences

In Japan, there are many convenient transportation options. Trains and buses provide access to almost every destination, and using a one-day pass makes travel more affordable.

Since many places are relatively close to each other, you can make efficient use of your time. This rich network of transport allows tourists to explore a variety of locations easily and without breaking the bank.

Night Activities

In Japan, you can enjoy activities at night without concerns about safety.

Unlike some other countries where you might have to stay in your hotel due to safety issues or avoid certain public transportation, Japan offers safe nightlife options.

There are 24-hour Izakaya(alcohol-serving restaurants) and karaoke venues, so you can have fun around the clock. This vibrant and secure nightlife makes Japan a unique destination for tourists who want to explore beyond the daytime hours.

Affordable to stay in Japan to use Student Discount

Here is the essential guide for staying in Japan on a student budget!

I was also a student in Japan and I enjoyed many things with the discount only for students.

However, compared to Japanese students, it is limited to use the student discount for a foreigner. Therefore, this guide will tell you how you spend time in Japan on a student budget.

How to Get Student Discount??

The way how to get a student discount is by getting an ISIC Card before you arrive in Japan.

Even though you could not get this card, some places validate your card as a student card. However, getting this card will give you the high possibility to validate you as a student.

You can use this card, called International Student Identity Card, not only in Japan but also in other countries.

But this is not completely the same Japanese student card. So this card validates only a few facilities however it would be useful when you go somewhere.

If you would like to get this card, please visit this official site.

Conclusion

As mentioned above, student discounts are not available everywhere.

When visiting Japan, it’s definitely cheaper to use student discounts. However, obtaining an ISIC card also costs money. So, before getting this card, it’s a good idea to check if the tourist destinations you plan to visit offer student discounts and how much you can save.

In Japan, you can often find group or family discounts even without using a student discount, and students don’t necessarily need to visit expensive places. With that in mind, consider your options!
